LightMedia's Christmas Party

We fancied doing something a little different for this year's Christmas Party, and Coombe Abbey's Medieval Banquet fitted the bill perfectly! 

Admittedly we were a little nervous about our fancy dress efforts, but once we arrived at Coombe Abbey we blended right in. Our very own Jon Snow (Jez) was the star of the show until Mr Blobby arrived (who knew he'd been around since the 15th centrury?!). 

It was a brilliant night and we really were taken back a few centuries. We were entertained by medieval performances and our traditional 5 course meal was prodominantly eaten without cutlery and was accompanied by several rounds of mead and ale, huzzah!
