Leamington Business Show 2017

As proud Leamingtonians, exhibiting at Leamington Business Show is a must for us at LightMedia. Held annually at Leamington Town Hall, the show is a fantastic event and brings together 70+ businesses as well as visitors who attend free of charge. 

On the day (31/03) we were in the company of a real range of businesses - from small, local start-ups to established national brands. Many of our own local clients either exhbited or attended too, so it was great to see some familiar faces! 

We took the opportunity to show off our new branding as well as raise awareness of a new legal framework, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which will affect businesses who have a day-to-day responsibility for customer information and data protection from May 2018.

We at LightMedia have created a free eLearning course which provides knowledge and awareness surrounding this new framework. It explains the similarities with the existing Data Protection Act and describes some of the new and different requirements. For more information, head over to our GDPR page.
